What are our shipping details?

We offer two shipping speed which we think you will love!

USPS First Class (3-5 business days): $5.95

USPS Priority (1-3 business days): $8.95

PS: Please allow 2 to 3 business days for us to receive and process your order.

Shipping is FREE for orders over $25. 

So, when will you receive your order?

The process is simple

  1. You order, takes a few minutes.
  2. We process,1 to 2 business days (and orders placed after 3pm ET are processed the next business day).
  3. We ship and our carriers take it from there! A tracking number will come to your inbox once your shipment has been registered. BASE BUTTER will be in it’s new home in no time.

Where does BASE BUTTER ship?

BASE BUTTER currently ships to all 50 states. You may experience longer delivery times when shipping to Hawaii and Alaska.

Having problems with the tracking?

We hate when that happens! Sometimes it can take the carrier takes 1-2 business days to register your shipment status. If your tracking number isn’t updating or working at all, hit us up at info@basebutter.com and we will have a solution.  

Can I edit my shipping address?

What skin types are BASE BUTTER products suitable for?

Our products are formulated for all skin types: we choose ingredients meant to nourish and protect your skin, so we make a point to absolutely never use parabens, phthalates, petroleum, synthetic dye, sulfates, mineral oil, phenoxyethanol, propylene glycol, edta, artificial dyes, triclosan, or PEG.

Will the products melt/dry/freeze/expire/etc?

Valid question. If the product is exposed to excessive heat or cold there is a chance the consistency may be altered. Luckily, that has doesn’t change the product's’ effectiveness. While the products don’t have a formal expiration date, it is generally recommended that they be used within 3 years of manufacture or 6 months after opening for best product quality...but we think you’ll love them so much that this won’t even be an issue.

Do you test on animals?

Do companies still do that? Well, you will be happy to know that we don’t, although we do receive a visit from a yorkie named Romeo from time to time.

Will this help with problem skin such as acne, clogged pores, eczema, or discoloration?

BASE BUTTER is great for all skin types. We design our products with you and your skin obstacles like - acne, sensitivity, and discoloration in mind. The carefully selected combinations of ingredients in our products are associated with clearing skin, evening tone, and combating inflammation.

Is this for sensitive skin types?

Our products work well with sensitive skin BUT (and this is an important but) everyone is different. We suggest trying the products on a small area of the inside of your wrist and watching for any skin reaction for 24 hours before applying to your face. Then, you can try another spot test just below your jawline. If you have a known allergy, please check the ingredients.

Where was the line manufactured and formulated?

It was manufactured in the United States by FDA skincare standards.

Do the products contain animal ingredients?

For the most part no. The majority of our ingredients are vegan, and when they aren’t we’re using the safest synthetics.

Will I see results? And if so when?

At our core we celebrate differences so we lead by acknowledging everyone has a different skin journey, uses a different combination of products and honestly leads different lifestyles,  so timing of positive changes will vary from person to person. Are there parabens in BASE BUTTER  products?

BASE BUTTER is formulated without parabens, sodium lauryl sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, animal by-products, phthalates, GMOs, silicone, or triclosan.

Are the ingredients natural, non-GMO or organic?

BASE BUTTER products are natural when they make sense, and non-GMO and organic when necessary.

Are your products “alcohol free”?

No, despite how extreme it sounds, it’s really not. Alcohol is added, like Glycerin, to thin out the gel to perfect spreadability, and allow a slow, time-release of our formulas fragrances and moisturizers.

Are the products gluten-free and soy-free?

Yes. All our products are gluten-free and soy-free.

Are the products non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging)?

Yes. Our products are non-comedogenic.

Do the products contain fragrance?

No. Our products do not contain synthetic fragrance. They are naturally scented with 100% pure essential oils.

Where is BASE BUTTER sold?

At this time, we are only selling online at basebutter.com.

Do your products expire?

BASE BUTTER products have a 2 year shelf life. Once the product is open it will last for 12 months.

Are there ingredients that are not included on the website or packaging?

No. Our product philosophy is to use only the ingredients you absolutely need to make a quality product. We value transparency, so all of our ingredients are listed on our website and packaging.

Do you have samples?

Yes, we do have samples and they are free 99 + shipping and handling. Purchase them by selecting the samples option on the product page.

How often should I use your products?

For the best results, use all products twice daily - once in the morning and then again at night.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

How do I place a return or exchange?

We're sorry it didn’t work out. No hard feelings though! Please reach out to info@basebutter.com with your order number and the products you'd like to exchange or return, and we'll take care of the rest.

What’s your return policy?

All returns must be processed within 30 days of receiving the order. You will be refunded in full to your original form of payment. Please note, your original shipping charges are not refunded. Email us at info@basebutter.com and we'll help you place the return. All merch is final sale.

How long does it take to process a return?

Credit card refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

What should I do if I receive the wrong product?

Our bad! Please accept our apology. Contact us at info@basebutter.com asap and we’ll be sure to get you the BASE BUTTER you ordered!

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and other major credit cards or debit cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks or money orders. 

What can I do if my payment is declined?

Check that your card’s billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you’ve entered.

Is your card expired?

Your card issuer may have declined your payment. They don’t tell us why for security purposes, so it’s best to check with them.

We look to plant-derived ingredients for their natural effectiveness first, but are unafraid to use “synthetics” when necessary.
